These terms govern your use of Astro Agents at https://astro-agent.dev, including its REST, MCP and A2A interfaces. By calling the service you agree to them.
The service
The service computes astronomical positions (from the NASA/JPL DE440 ephemeris) and applies traditional Western and Vedic astrological rule systems to them. Every response states the conventions it used, such as ayanamsa, house system, orbs and rule sets. Results are deterministic: the same input to the same engine version gives the same output.
Not advice
Astrology is a cultural and interpretive tradition, not a science. Results are provided for information and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or relationship advice, and must not be the sole basis for important decisions, including decisions about marriage.
Accuracy
We work to make the calculations exact and we test them against independent engines. However, the service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Dates are supported from 1800 to 2200. Historical time zones come from the IANA tz database, whose records before 1970 may be incomplete. The service flags these cases, as well as ambiguous local times.
Prices and payment
- Prices are per call and published in the free catalog at https://astro-agent.dev/v1/catalog. The amount in the HTTP 402 challenge for a request is the price that applies to it.
- Each caller gets 3 free calls. We may change this allowance.
- Payments are made in stablecoins with x402 or MPP, and they are final once settled on-chain.
- Input is validated before any payment is settled, so a request rejected for invalid input is never charged. If you believe you were charged for a call that did not return a result, contact us with the transaction hash.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass payment, overload the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may block callers who do.
Your results
You may use, store and redistribute the results you receive, including inside your own products. Do not claim that the results come from a different provider.
Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but offer no service-level guarantee. We may change, suspend or retire endpoints or prices. Changes are reflected in the catalog and in the 402 challenges. We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the current version.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the calls concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
